Beneva Group has recently been engaged by a leading Electrical, Safety and Infrastructure Solutions company to identify their next Continuous Improvement Managers. These individuals will be responsible for fostering, promoting and deploying the company business system. The Continuous Improvement Managers will be the change agents for Continuous Improvement within the organization and will be leading the deployment of Lean methodology including strategy design and deployment, training, mentoring and coaching of subject matter expertise while working closely with multiple departments.

  • Key Responsibilities

    • Deploy Lean methodology including strategy design and deployment, training, mentoring and coaching of subject matter expertise, and work closely cross functionally with Sales, Customer Service, Warehousing, Production, Maintenance, Procurement, Environmental Health & Safety, Finance, Human Resources, and Quality.
    • Champion the Facility’s ABS Control Room to sustain the connection between Strategy Deployment, Lean Excellence, and Facility Transformation initiatives.
    • Facilitate lean daily management; develop and lead the path to Gemba
    • Engage with facility leadership to set specific targets to functionally and strategically achieve improvements in Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and Innovation metrics.
    • Develop, facilitate, and lead Value Stream Mapping (VSM) activities to identify & prioritize improvement opportunities

  • Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
    • 7+ years of experience of similar work in a manufacturing operation
    • Experience in lean manufacturing and/or business system-based company as a Continuous Improvement Leader, Black Belt or similar role is required
    • Excellent training, coaching, communication, and presentation skills
    • Certified Lean Practitioner or Certified Six Sigma Black Belt is strongly preferred
    • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and technology within Construction, Steel Tube, or Stamping is highly preferred
    • Ability to travel up to 15%
