This accomplished candidate has over 20 years of experience in end to end supply chain roles including in logistics, distribution, planning, materials, manufacturing and transportation. Redesigned and led multi-site supply chain networks across multiple companies including warehousing and manufacturing facilities and corporate teams in vendor managed inventory, material and demand planning, and continuous improvement. Led the implementation of continuous improvement platforms and multiple software packages (ERP, WMS, TMS, and Data Visualization packages). Director of Logistics

  • Led the redesign of the supply chain network including starting up the 3PL division including improving operational throughputs at company ran facilities, resourcing and relocating 3PL sites, selecting and staffing of on-site 3PL Logistics Managers leading to cost reduction of 25%, on time deliveries by 12% and case fill rates by 7%.
  • Developed automated KPI reporting, consolidating data from multiple internal and external sources via API, SQL, Knime and Power BI, and standardizing KPI review process for Operations, Planning and Customer teams leading to 27% reduction in inventory, 13% reduction to Days Sales Outstanding, and Cash to Cash Cycle Time by 14%.
  • Implemented Six Sigma and Project Management methodologies in the distribution division to drive operational improvements, improve inventory turnover ratio, and increase functional distribution center capacity.

Director of Contract Manufacturing

  • Led implementation of World Class Manufacturing based Integrated Work Systems (IWS) across the North American Hair Care Contract Manufacturing organization, including developing 1-, 3- and 5-year road map, phase assessment, leadership and associate training of each pillar, and leading Continuous Improvement workshops resulting in $2.4B in cost savings in FY 22/23.
  • Implemented vendor governance program with a disciplined proof of evidence process to ensure contractual and operational targets in quality, inventory control, material management, productivity, and overall spending, leading to a 23% cost improvement. The process was audited by Global Internal Audit and resulted in perfect score with no risks identified.
  • Created vendor site scorecard, combining internal and external data from multiple sources via Azure Databricks, Knime and Power BI and created KPI review process for manufacturing organization including profit improvement projects, adherence to line schedules, reduction in changeover time, mean time between failures, overall equipment effectiveness, centerline compliance, inventory accuracy, quality audits, and more.
  • Served as corporate trainer for Continuous Improvement – coaching topics included Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, 6W2H, 8 Wastes, DMAIC, Lean, and other loss elimination philosophies. Taught monthly courses, held weekly office hours, and collaborated on projects resulting in improvements across the organization resulting in $4.7B in cost savings in FY 22/23.

Assistant Director of Transportation

  • Functioned as the IWS Organizational Excellence implementation leader, defining how a manufacturing process would be reapplied to a transportation organization, organizational assessment, and development planning. Facilitated the creation of organization’s compelling business need (CBN), key performance indicators (KPI) and scorecards to track historical and future performance against stretch goals and lead multiple Kaizen projects resulting in 53% spend reduction in FY 21/22.
  • Implemented vendor governance program to ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards around people, assets, suppliers, and third-party management. Audited 5 times in 3 years, all resulting in perfect scores with no risks identified.
  • Authored a Tableau dashboard highlighting carrier spending comparing contractual rates vs. freight auction spending to drive improved service to historically hard-to-serve lanes. Reduced transportation costs by 15% in 2020.
