Lean Six Sigma Deployment Leader

One of our top clients, an industry leader in manufacturing environmentally friendly packaging and related products, is seeking a Lean Six Sigma Deployment Leader to be based near a major airport and travel to plants in the US.  The LSS Deployment Leader will be instrumental in the deployment of a Continuous Improvement Production System in the company’s organization.  This LSS Leader will be reporting to a Director of Continuous Improvement and successful performance will lead to expeditious advancement within the organization.

LSS Leader Responsibilities:

  • Work in partnership with plant and corporate leadership to implement the production system in multiple plants in the US, as well as on-going sustainment of the production system
  • Be the conduit between strategic initiatives and tactical operations in the plants
  • Lead and implement training and coaching for the CI pillar team
  • Execute LSS Black Belt projects to meet division goals

Experience/Skills/Attributes Needed to Succeed:

  • Five or more years of progressive work experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Previous lean deployment experience
  • Intermediate knowledge of Lean Six Sigma tools and methodology
  • Strong financial acumen with ability to create financial models used to support project selection and determine net project value to the P&L
  • Demonstrated ability to coach, teach, and mentor technical and non-technical knowledge to hourly and salaried employees to drive business results
  • Proficient with Minitab, Microsoft Office, Visio, and/or Sharepoint
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Black Belt certification
  • High level of integrity and professionalism and strong leadership skills
  • Self-Starter – ability to work independently
  • Ability to travel
